Dianne Lee

She started dancing school at the age of three. Appearing in her first professional show at the tender age of fifteen. She teamed up with Lennie Peters in 1970. After many gruelling years touring the northern clubs and sleeping in the van, they became an overnight success on Opportunity Knocks. They were winners for a record seven times and both their first single “WELCOME HOME” and album “WE CAN MAKE IT” went to number one in the chart. As well as being resident guests for two years on the Des O’Connor Show, they also had their own TV series. All the television exposure led to a world-wide tour, taking in New Zealand, Australia, and the U.S.A. During this time they appeared in two Royal Variety Performances, one in London and one in Sydney. To celebrate 21 years as PETERS & LEE the couple released their final album “THROUGH ALL THE YEARS” in 1992. Shortly after this, Lennie sadly lost his battle against cancer. Since then Dianne has starred in many major productions as a solo artist, co-starring with some of the country’s top personalities, including JIM DAVIDSON and BRIAN CONLEY. She is perfect as “CINDERELLA“ opposite Jim Davidson’s “Buttons” and has a cult following for her portrayal of “SINDERELLA” in the adult version. Dianne is a qualified fitness instructor and holds regular exercise and Line Dancing classes in her home town. Alongside touring with Rick, she has recently discovered a talent for radio and TV presentation and has also just finished a project for INVICTA RADIO with comedian DAVE LEE.
